Wandering into w.ink on the Esplanade at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas is, for this pen lover, like walking into the hotel’s all-you-can-eat buffet after a seven-day fast. Though the beautifully appointed shop is small, it is chock-full of great pens from the best brands, including David Oscarson’s latest. Oscarson designed the enamel pen specifically for Steve Wynn’s Encore hotel located just down the street from the Wynn (it officially opened last December), and it uses some of the hotel’s motifs in its decoration. Put aside some of those big winnings: The Encore fountain pen costs $4,900.
